Went to Windsor for some drinks and a meal with friends yesterday, the castle was looking cool illuminated with all kinds of royal "stuff", slightly better than the ugly mug of that Epstein nonce I suppose!
Had a couple of cracking beers in the Two Flints taproom under the railway arches, named "NZH 105" and "NZH 106" (original!) they featured experimental hop varieties from New Zealand as part of the "Bract Programme" which is a breeding scheme aiming to identify the best hops of the future. Very strong weedy characters with super dank white wine and gooseberry back notes, very delicious indeed, must see if I can find some cans of these for the holiday!
