Had a fab holiday in Norway this week, my Wife and I took a 7 day cruise up to the Fiords and various Norwegian towns, some very welcome R&R! We'd never been to Norway before and it's been on our wish-list for some years, we weren't disappointed. Starting in Bergen we sailed up to Alesund for a day and then into the Innvikfjorden to Olden, so beautiful. Finished the trip in Stavanger and spent a lovely day wandering around museums and points of interest, the painted wooden houses and cobbled streets were a treat (see picture above). Loved Norway, such an interesting place with a real sense of history and culture, food was good, scenery stunning, good beer and the people very friendly, can't ask for much more really..
