Marlow Moments

We went for a walk in Marlow yesterday, it was glorious along the river in the sunshine and we did a short 5k along the Thames path. On our return to the town we decided to grab a drink in the craft beer bar in the high street only to find that it wasn't there any more! In it's place was a restaurant called "Ginger Wings" a chicken wing joint apparently owned by the Son of Heston Blumenthal; we asked if we could just have a drink and they begrudgingly allowed us to sit in their airconditioned bar area. There were no real craft beers available but they did have a hazy number from Rebellion brewery (based in Marlow) and I was pleasantly surprised, it wasn't too bad! Usually when mainstream breweries try to do "craft" it's a disaster but this was OK, fresh, hoppy and just the job on a hot day!
