Afairyism

Good to see that the Middle-East is keeping on top of their witch problem; two Women in Syria have just been beheaded by ISIS fanatics for, wait for it, "working with elves and witchcraft".

Now I wonder how many forensic scientists would jump at the chance to investigate case of "working with elves" (no I can't imagine many would either, they'd mostly be looking around for the candid camera). Can you imagine Jack Regan (aka actor John Thaw) of Sweeney fame kicking in an East-end lock-up door and surprising a coven of witches making wooden rocking horses with a bunch of little Christmas elves; "put your pointy shoes on son, you're nicked!"

Bombing's too good for em.

Elves? No wonder the Daesh were upset. That's yer actual Northern European supernatural being, that is. None of yer traditional Middle Eastern djinns or lamias.

Not unlike poor Elizabeth Pratt of Dunstable, arrested and banged up in Bedford Jail for talking to fairies on the 5 Knolls tumuli. I used to know quite a few Pratts in Dunstable.

And why does pressing a blue box on your comment page prove I'm not a robot?

AE, well yes, I did have an image of fir trees, log fires and red velvet!

PS. No idea about the blue box; I don't see why it proves anything either?
PPS. I can't seem to post anything on your blog any more?

Don't know why you can't post. You're not blocked.

How far do you get?

AE, I tried a couple of times and all appears OK but the post never appears; it's like it goes into a moderation queue and never comes out, I'll try again and let you know (perhaps it was a temporary Blogger platform issue?)

It's an absolute mystery. Nobody else seems to have a problem. Have you tried logging out and commenting? (You can put your name in so I know it's you).
