before you start thinking about significance you might want to look at accuracy. I mean, I don't know VERY much about it, but I was reading newspapers in the 80s and "Ulster Loyalist 1, Irish Republicanism 8" sounds a bit low to me.
merryhouse; if you look at the source you'll see that this chart is only for attacks where 40 or more people died. I agree that the IRA were very active in the 70s and early 80s but for the most part the casualties were small (relatively speaking) as they used to give warnings. I remember the Guildford and Birmingham pub bombings very well as a kid - dark times.

In correct unless one adds those of the Imperialist forces who do their damnedest to prevent others from having their freedom.
HV, one man's terrorist etc. But I ask, whose responsibility is it to stop Islamist Terrorism? Are people to just sit back and shrug their shoulders?
