We were fortunate enough to travel around a bit in South America last year, visiting Argentina, Chile and Brazil. I think my favourite place of the three was Chile, something about the dramatic framing of the cities by the Andes Mountains and the friendliness of the people (plus great food and wine) not to mention how cheap everything was compared to Europe (and the posher parts of Argentina) Of course we only scratched the surface of that huge continent, I can't wait to get back and tick a few more places off the list!
