Following on from the Burgundy we had on Friday I opened the above wine (that I reckoned needed drinking) on Saturday. From Puligny Montrachet it was a 2002 Premier Cru from Clos de la Mouchere by producer Jean Boillot & Fils. I was half expecting this one to be past its best but boy was I wrong, absolutely stunning wine, rich, dry, full of flavour and very long. Perfect white Burgundy only one more of these left, but I don't think I should be in any hurry to open it, this one seems bullet-proof!
