I tried one of these while in Cornwall last weekend, supped at the Verdant brewery in Penryn it's a new DIPA (Double IPA) made with an experimental hop variety called NZH-101. Weighing in at 8% I only had a half but it was a unique flavour profile, very weedy (i.e. cannabis-like) with back-notes of mango and tropical fruits and a slight bitterness, a really interesting addition. I'm not sure I could drink loads of it, certainly not at that ABV, but as the newest member of Verdant's SBP#10 or Small Batch Project (number 10) beers I'd say it's a banger!
