Fraud, pure and simple

I see that the NHS has recommended to the Government that Homeopathy should not be provided by the state; good for them! The reason is simple, there is no evidence (of any quality) that shows it's an effective treatment for anything apart from things that get better of their own accord anyway, which are then grasped with both hands by gullible people as some kind of "proof" that it does. The basis for this whole fraud is fundamentally flawed, it relies on water having some kind of spooky "memory" which has never been shown by anyone to be true. Homeopathy should therefore remain in the category of unsubstantiated or "quack-medicine" and opposed/ridiculed appropriately whenever it's wheeled out. Many people feel that it's important to do this primarily so that vulnerable people don't waste money and emotional energy on "sugar pills" when the alternatives have actually been shown (via double-blind peer reviewed studies) to work.
