I can't actually believe that this story is true, but suspect strongly that it might be. In Bangladesh 25,000 people gathered together cheek by jowl to "pray" to their invisible god to "protect" them from another invisible entity, corona virus. No one thought to reasonably conclude that if prayer actually worked then we wouldn't have viruses in the first place! One can't help feeling that our species is well and truly screwed.
