We were fortunate enough to visit Cape Town, South Africa back in January of this year, it was great to escape the Northern Hemisphere Winter for a few weeks, soak up some Sun and see the wonderful animals and sights of Africa. The map above shows the Cape of Good Hope in 3d form, it's at the top of Table Mountain above the city and has a little arrow pointing toward London. At a distance of 9,670 km it's roughly 20% of the circumference of the entire planet away from home!
