Lumina

Excitement (or at least what passes for excitement in lock-down) this weekend as my local brewery Siren launched a brand new core beer. Called "Lumina" it's a hazy session IPA that features a whole slew of different hops, including some Hallertau Blanc from Germany along with the usual American suspects. The beer comes out at a very drinkable 4% ABV and tastes great, really refreshing with a good balance between tropical fruit flavours from the hops and good old-fashioned malty notes from the grains. A beer that I could see many of my real-ale die-hards being tempted to transition to if the setting was right. Anyway, I wish them great success with it, should sell well I reckon, can't wait to see it in the local shops and supermarkets!
