An excellent J&M this week. Pointing out the bleeding obvious as usual! Our view of morality and religions change as our societies move from obsessing over survival values to more cultural concerns. The evidence for this is plain to see and all around us, for example, the only countries where congregations aren't shrinking are those places where poverty and poor education persist and where simple survival is very much top of mind for many people! (i.e. places like South America and Africa)
