Visited my mum in deepest Surrey yesterday (Saturday) and after a hearty lunch we went for a 5k walk along the lanes surrounding her home. It was a typical UK December afternoon, slightly damp, a little fog/mist and generally chilly but not too cold once you got going. I snapped a couple of photos while we were out including this rather melancholy looking horse who, I bet, was really glad to be wearing a blanket as the evening drew in and darkness descended.
