I see that Indonesia has started to implement religiously inspired laws to interfere in people's lives (as most religiously inspired laws do), control and a lifetime of gas-lighting the population is a pre-requisite to total power of course, as any totalitarian state machinery knows. New legislation means that sex between consenting adults is now illegal outside of marriage, even between non-Indonesians (and of course sex between same sex couples is out of the question regardless). There are already blasphemy laws in this country including prohibitions on freedom of expression around Atheists in particular, of course Women will suffer much more than men under these new laws, another marker for misogynistic religious regimes. Clearly this is a state that wants a medieval level of control over it's population while benefiting from the products of the enlightenment, yet another place to avoid buying things from and to NEVER visit.
