Travelling back from my company's Christmas party (in London) last night and came across a brand new craft beer pub called "The Bear" right next to Paddington station. On Spring street, I remember that there used to be a wine bar on this spot, but it closed over the Covid era and has now been reborn as a Craft Beer Co. pub. As usual the choice of ales was fabulous a mix of cask and keg with all the UK's best brewers represented. I opted for a half of "Pretty Mess" by Sussex maestros Burning Sky and it was delicious, just the job while waiting for the fast train back West.
